Here are photos of kids drinking "Jitter Juice" on the first day to chase away any first day jitters and creating a tally chart to show how many students did or did not like the jitter juice. There are some photos of our Mystery Name of the Day activity which helps us review word study ideas like vowel, consonants, and syllables while we learn about the students in our class, photos of students practicing book care, playing a partner math game with pennies, and a greater than/less than math game as a whole group on the interactive white board. I have also included a photo of our container of Champ Bands and photos of our first celebration where kids voted to bring in blankets and take a rest at the end of the day on our first Friday at school (a great way to end our first week)!
