Chick Party

This afternoon we had a chick celebration where kids showed off all of their work/learning about chicks and everyone got to hold and visit with the chicks before their send off. The chicks are moving to a farm! Thank you to everyone who came to celebrate the chicks and the kids' learning with us!

All About Chicks

A couple months ago first graders did a huge nonfiction research project on sharks and created All About books. We made our second round of All About books this week focused on the things we had learned about chicks. Here are photos of us finishing up the books!
