Today was our first day with Circus Smirkus! This morning we had a whole school assembly to meet Nettie and Josh (the two performers doing an artist-in-residency at UMS) and to get an idea for what the kids will be learning from them this week. Afterward each class got to meet with the performers during their regular unified arts time to learn some exciting new things! Classes will meet with them each day this week during our unified arts time (in place of PE, art, music, and library) then we will have the whole school performance on Friday evening at CHS!
