Spring Symmetry

We have taken down our snowmen projects (those are coming home today) and having replaced them with colorful butterflies and dragonflies in hopes that spring weather will soon be here! First graders have recently been studying an introduction to geometry during math so we created a spring symmetry project to replace our snowmen! Students created symmetrical butterflies and dragonflies, then drew symmetrical designs on them and painted them in bright colors. They are now hung up in our hallway. Come on spring!
