The Chick Are Here!

Our first grade chicks have begun to hatch! It takes 21 days for chicks to develop inside of their eggs and today is day 21 of our incubation! Some chicks began hatching yesterday (our class had 3 hatch a day early) and many more had hatched by the time I got to school this morning. Our class had 13 eggs and currently have 11 hatched chicks. There is one egg I predict will be a dud based on candling so we shall see about the 12th egg. Stay tuned for more photos and we hope that families can join for our chick celebration on Friday afternoon!
