Diwali

Two of our classmates celebrate the Hindu holiday of Diwali that just ended yesterday. We did some different reading about Diwali and had these two classmates share with us about what the holiday is and how they celebrate. We continue to become a caring community in our classroom and it was wonderful to get to learn about an important holiday celebrated by some of our friends!
