We have been incubating 13 chicken eggs from the farm at UVM for the last 10 days and anticipate a hatch on May 23/24. We are learning lots and lots about eggs, incubation, chicks, and the life cycle of a chicken and are excited to share our learning and our chicks with family members in two weeks! The celebration will be an informal chick "open house" where family members can come in to see what students have learned/created and meet the chicks before they head back to the farm after school that day.
