Another great coding game!

I wanted to let everyone know about an other great coding resource I have been introduced to. It is a website, not an app (so great for home computers or any mobile device with Internet), called learn.code.org. The website is a tutorial in computer science for kids in grades K-8 and has some really great videos explaining computer science as well as great coding games including an Angry Birds programming game! If you want to play the games without signing up just go to the site and scroll down to where it says "stages." Stage 2: The Maze is the set of Angry Birds programming puzzles, which should be simple for the kids in our class to figure out because they are similar to some of the coding apps we have tried. There are anumber of different games to try out and it looks like there is a way to earn prizes for task completion if you decide to sign up on the site (though you don't have to sign up to use the games). This looks like a really great resource for learning to program! Check it out!
