Catching Up!

I am realizing that I have been tweeting a lot lately and have forgotten to post here! Families, if you are on twitter please follow us @mrskellysclass for lots of quick updates as we do things in class.

In the last two weeks we have been doing more science experiments with sound, we participated in the national hour of code, and we have been learning about December holidays! Later in the year first graders study Mexico so we have learned about some Mexican holidays as they come up. We learned about Dia de los Muertos in October and today we learned about Las Posadas which is happening this week in Mexico. Kids made paper poinsettias as part of this learning.
