Flynn Trip

Tuesday, first grade classes at UMS attended a play at the Flynn Theater in Burlington! The trip was rescheduled from our original date in January where we had planned to see the play Dream Carver, which connected to our spring unit studying Mexico (that showing was cancelled when the Flynn had a power failure). Our trip was rescheduled for yesterday and we saw a play called, At Nightfall, which was a play performed through music and dance, without dialogue, and was set in a magical forest at night time. It was a different type of play than we are used to attending and was a neat experience! Thank you to our parent chaperones for coming along and helping to make the trip a success!
