Halloween
Yesterday was a very exciting day at school! The Colchester High School drama department will be putting on the play "The Wizard of Oz" in two weeks at the high school (Nov 14-16) and yesterday morning some of the cast came to UMS in costume to perform some of the songs from the play for us! In the afternoon our class had our annual harvest party where many family members came to join us in making some festive crafts and eating fun, festive treats! Thank you so much to all of the family members who came to join us and help organize and support our party!

We were amazed at how many sweets you had! - Sam
Sam says that when he saw the Wizard of Oz, he was asked to volunteer to take part! He wasn't sure what he was doing and he found out that the lion had to lift him up and spin him around.It was a surprise!!!

ReplyDeleteWe liked the feast! We saw sweets, cheese, biscuits and cakes and fruit. Where did you get the idea for the cheese bats! Because we thought that was fab!
We weren't in school for Halloween but Ethan was at home and he saw a skeleton hand.
Arpith went trick or treating with his friends.
Gethin went to his friends house and carved out pumpkins.
Molly made a pumpkin with glasses.
Lamees dressed up as a fox.
Jaden went to party and played. Abdullah made his friend cry by scaring him but they are still friends and its ok now.
Ahmad went to a friends house and went trick or treating.
Jaylen went trick or treating.
Did you make all of those pictures and food in one day?
Thank you for you comments! We did have all of that food and make those crafts in one day. The cheese bats and pumpkins were brought to school by a parent!
